Skeptical of the slab. Loyal to the data.
SlabLabs Research exists to test grading claims against evidence instead of marketing. A grade is a company's opinion, printed on a label and sealed in acrylic. Sometimes that opinion is worth paying for. Often it is not. The only way to tell the difference is to look at the numbers.
We write about the mechanics of the graded-card market: how slab premiums form, where they hold, and where they quietly evaporate. Every claim we make should be checkable — comps, spreads, populations, and realized sales, not vibes.
We are not neutral about hype, and we are not here to sell you a submission. We are here to be right. When the data says a card was worth grading, we'll say so. When it says the premium is an illusion, we'll say that too.
SlabLabs Research is published by SlabLabs, the team behind SlabFlow and SnapSlab. New pieces publish here as we finish them.
